My notes —
- Did 2/3 of the sugar melted with water and butter, and sprinkled other 1/3 of sugar on when nuts are cooling. Another sugar option: sub part of sugar for honey or maple syrup.
- Remove nuts IMMEDIATELY from foil when out of the oven, it WILL stick and be impossible to separate from foil. Put onto plate to cool, so it’s easier to remove.
- Can skip adding the spicy parts if you’re looking just for sweet and salty
